Acts 2: 46-47 (KJV)

Acts 1:14 states, "These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren."

In Acts 2:1 we read, "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place."

Acts 2: 46-47 states, "And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people.  And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."

Camp Meeting 2018, what a wonderful week we had last week worshipping the Lord with many brothers and sisters, seeing lost souls find new life in Christ Jesus.  Oh how beautiful to see the transformation in a life that is only available through the Spirit of God.  I have been thinking about what causes so many souls to look to camp meeting as a place for a new start.  While I realize there are many things that play a part in this, this year I couldn’t help being challenged by the fact that one major reason is that we bathe this week in prayer well before we get there.  Not only that, we all approach that week in one accord, expecting blessings to flow, and expecting souls to seek to be saved.  So the challenge I left Camp Meeting with this year….We only have 51 weeks remaining until Camp Meeting 2019, what will we do with those 51 weeks?
