God's Grace

Grace is simply defined as unmerited favor. We deserve nothing from God. However, John 3:16 tells us "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

God’s grace is unmerited and undeserved. It cannot be earned, bought, inherited, or obtained in any manner. We obtain his grace by falling at the feet of Jesus asking in faith to be forgiven of the sins that we have committed, and then asking for God’s Ggace to come into our hearts and remove the SIN nature that causes us to sin.

Ephesians 2:1-5 says “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”

Romans 8:11 states, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

Titus 2:11-12 tells us “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.”

God’s grace is available to “whosoever will”. It is free, it is abundant, and it will change your life. Try Jesus!
