Overcoming the Winter-time Blues - Tip #1

One of the best ways to fight off the winter-time blues is to begin counting your blessings. Get a pen, a notepad, and your Bible, find a quiet place to meditate on the good things in your life…happy situations, positive friendships, church fellowship, people who love you, and so on. As you ponder these things in your mind and in your heart, write them down on paper. Thank the Lord for each good thing he has allowed in your life, and for the positive things He is doing right now to bless you. This is a good way to start overcoming the winter-time blues.

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Bro. Glenn Copeland
