Luke 2:11 (KJV)

Luke 2:11 states “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”  Jesus Christ will be the Saviour of every person who makes Him Lord of his or her life.  The Lord of a person’s life is the spiritual ruler (either Jesus or Satan) who possesses supreme power or authority over all that a person does.  In the life of each individual, Jesus Christ is either Lord of all or He is not Lord at all.  Matthew 7:21 states “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
