Overcoming the Winter-time Blues - Tip #2

Another way to overcome the Winter-time Blues is to shift our focus to other people around us. As is human nature, we sometimes tend to think primarily of ourselves, our situations, our challenges, and our problems. But it is a healthy exercise to spend time thinking about other people, their life situations, and to lift them up in prayer. It is amazing how praying for other people can make us feel uplifted and can brighten our spirits. In addition to prayer, we can call, text, or e-mail people with a positive, cheerful message. Maybe even try an old-fashioned way of sending a card or a letter, or by dropping in for a quick visit with the intent to cheer them up. It usually works to cheer up everyone

Galatians 6:10 (KJV) “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

Bro. Glenn Copeland
