Positive Associations

I heard someone say last week, "who we spend time with is who we become," and I thought how true this is for all aspects of our lives. Two questions came to my mind that are worthy for everyone to ask themselves:

1. How much time do we spend with those who uplift us?

2. And, on the other hand, how much time do we spend with those who bring us down?

Hebrews 12:1-2 states, "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Our fellowship with God and His people is special and provides us strength!! I challenge everyone to spend more time around those who uplift Christ and in turn uplift us.
