Proverbs 6:9-11 (KJV)
October 23, 2018, 1:22 PM

Proverbs 6:9-11 states, “How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?  Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:  So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.”  These verses offer up a great question.  With all the wonderful things that God has to offer and all the negativity and destruction the devils has for your life, how long will you put off serving the Lord?

Life is serious and we need to treat it seriously!  You cannot be lazy in finding a relationship with God or you will find yourself in spiritual poverty.

The world today (actually the devil) would have you focus on the temporary things of this world that give you momentary satisfaction and put off the one thing that provides ultimate joy and happiness, which is a relationship with God.

Distractions of the world will distract one from serving the Lord and ultimately never obtaining eternal life.  This simple distraction is what the enemy desires and will lead to eternal death which is what the Bible describes as Hell.  So yes, life is very serious!  Don’t delay!  It is time to come clean with God and make things right with your Creator who holds the keys to Heaven and Hell!
