Ephesians 5:20 (KJV)

I love this time of year!  It is a time set aside to reflect and be thankful for how much we are richly blessed.  Counting our blessings is truly a way to stay positive and realize how much Jesus Christ loves us.  He is a wonderful and merciful Savior!

"Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."  Ephesians 5:20 (KJV)

Luke 14: 12-14 (KJV)

Jesus Christ was very plain in his teaching and His words were always backed by His actions.  The following scripture is one example of how Jesus wants us to serve others.  I pray our words would always be backed by our actions.

Luke 14: 12-14 states, “Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.  But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.”

What We Believe

We believe in God, the Creator and Heavenly Father. We believe that Jesus Christ, who lived on this earth, was in every way the Son of God.  We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God. We believe that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ we can be forgiven of our sins and that we can be born again to salvation through the power of the Holy Spirit.  This new birth brings us in harmony with our Creator, peace and joy in this present world, and the assurance of Heaven for eternity.

Philippians 4:12 (KJV)

Sometimes we all need reminding that with Christ living and abiding in our hearts we have access to great spiritual power and strength. The apostle Paul said it best in Philippians 4:12… “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

So as you go about your week, remember that Jesus Christ can give you strength to overcome any challenge or obstacle if you trust in Him.

1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)

Have you ever been asked if you have it all under control?  Talk about pressure.  But when you think about it, no one has it all under control.  However, there is good news! Jesus tells us he will help us with all aspects of our life.  He has it all under control.

There are at least two passages that emphasize this point.

1 Peter 5:7 states, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

In Matthew 10:29-31 we read, "Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows."

Rest in God today and remember to thank the creator and enjoy his creation today and everyday!
